Upgrade of an agreement on cooperation with Indian company Zenith Quality Assessors.

On 13th and 14th October 2011 TSU Piestany served as a site for negotiations with Mr. Vidyut Bera, CEO of Indian advisory and certificate company Zenith Quality Assessors Pvt. Ltd.
Results of a recent cooperation that had been reached since the signing of Memorial of comprehension in May 2010 were presented within the frame of this negotiation.
Both sides emphasized their interest in future growth of the cooperation and regarding this point they agreed on the fact, that Zenith Quality Assessors company would create an autonomous division specialized in the offer of services to Indian manufacturing companies provided by TSU in the field of product conformity assessment.
As a next point, the cooperation in the field of certificate scheme Keymark for solar collectors was discussed and agreed on as well as the cooperation in the field of education (seminars and workshops) for Indian manufacturing companies oriented on effective EC legislation on product conformity assessment.

14th SOLAR KEYMARK NETWORK Meeting

On 12th - 13th March took the place 14th Solar Keymark Meeting in BORÅS, SWEDEN. Ing. Jana Levická was attended at this meeting as the authorized representative of the certification body and testing laboratory of TSÚ.

Seminar „Application of technical regulations and standards in trading with countries of Customs Union – Russian Federation, Belarus, Kazakhstan“

On 16th January 2013, a seminar focused on the application of technical standards and regulations within the new Customs Union, whose member states Russian Federation, Belarus and Kazakhstan, took place in TSÚ Piešťany.

Insulated transport equipment
Mandate of the Ministry of Transport,Construction and Regional Development of the Slovak Republic to approve the type, conformity assessment and to perform tests, periodic controls and tests of transport equipment used for road transport of perishable foodstuffs in accordance with International Agreement on the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs and on the Special Equipment to be Used for Such Carriage (ATP), as well as to issue certificates and certification labels for road transport equipment.

Inspections
Accredited inspection body type A performs inspection activities according to requirements of Act No. 90/1998 Coll. on constructional products as amended by later regulations.
