Conformity assessment of products according to Act No. 264/1999 Coll. on technical requirements for products and on conformity assessment and on modification and completion of some laws as amended by later regulations within the scope of certification, testing and inspections. TSÚ Piešťany has authorisation for this activity granted by Slovak Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing and it uses the SKTC-104 identification.

Testing of products on the basis of accreditation in GOST R Certification System according to legislation valid in Russian Federation, elaboration of protocols according to GOST standards within the scope stated by Russian Gosstandart accreditation. Consultations and advisory regarding export of products to Russian Federation.

Tests performance of machinery and consumer goods according to standards applicable in Belarus Republic and issues test reports. Following that, BelGISS and BelGIM issue conformity certificates, which authorise them to export products on Belarus market.

Testing, attesting and coding of packages for transport of dangerous goods used in road-, railway-, water-, sea- and air traffic according to international regulations (ADR, RID, IATA-DGR (ICAO), IMDG-Code and RTDG) on the basis of Mandate No. 1398-232/95 of the Ministry of Transport, Post and Telecommunications of Slovak Republic of 11th May 1995.
